And it's official!

To my avid seven readers,
I am researching an essay at the moment that will, broadly speaking, look at how the Observer Woman Magazine represents women.

And it depresses me.

Firstly, because I actually like Observer Woman, a publication that on closer inspection turns out to be about as ground-breaking as American Pie in terms of female emancipation.

Secondly, because I’ve come across such good writing on the subject it makes me want to give up being a journalist altogether.

So. Because I’m not really giving up, merely having a bit of a moan, I thought I’d do something about it.

I’m going to practise my English. And this is where I start. Welcome to my blog. Same shit, different language.
